No. The FAA does not require you to take a specific course before taking the Part 107 Remote Pilot Knowledge Test. However, proper preparation can make a big difference. The actual FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Test is taken at an FAA-approved Knowledge Testing Center. Your online preparation is completed at home, but the official initial certification exam is administered through an approved testing provider. After passing the exam, you can complete the remaining FAA certification steps to obtain your Remote Pilot Certificate.
